AC Power Supply with ignition/trigger line

This AC power supply allows our in-vehicle computers and routers to be powered from an AC power source, which is useful for testing or configuration purposes prior to the equipment being installed into a vehicle.

Description

This AC power supply allows our in-vehicle computers and routers to be powered from an AC power source, which is useful for testing or configuration purposes prior to the equipment being installed into a vehicle.

The power supply includes a 2-way rocker switch which simulates the vehicle ignition, thus replicating the in-vehicle environment as closely as possible.

The following different variants are available depending on what device you will be powering:

  • For C family in-vehicle computers: the output cable terminates in a 6-pin power connector, suitable for use with all our C-family computers.
  • For CQ15/30/40/50 in-vehicle computers: the output cable terminates in a 3-pin power connector, suitable for use with CQ15, CQ30, CQ40 & CQ50 computers
  • For CQ60 in-vehicle computers: a higher wattage power supply is used, with the output cable terminating in a 5-pin connector, suitable for use with CQ60 computers
  • For in-vehicle routers: the output cable terminates in a 4-pin power connector, suitable for use with the GX450, IBR1100 or IBR900 in-vehicle routers
  • For V100 series PCs with optional trigger-line: the output cable terminates in a 4-pin Mini DIN connector suitable for V100 series PCs with the optional trigger-line equipped power supply (not compatible with standard V100 series PCs).

The power supply’s input is via an IEC C7 connector, apart from the CQ60 variant which uses IEC C5.  A cable is supplied with a UK mains plug, which can be swapped for an EU mains plug or other worldwide plugs upon request.

Please note that this power supply is designed to be used with our computers only.  Attempting to use this power supply with other in-vehicle computers that have a similar but non pin-to-pin compatible power input socket may result in damage, for which we take no responsibility!
